Hope Amplified works to provide practical help, social and volunteering opportunities for socially isolated and vulnerable people in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire council area. We work to promote, support, develop and connect young people to create resilient communities through volunteering, social enterprises and lifelong learning. We run activities including lunch club, home start, jewellery making, inter-generational arts, computer classes, befriending and mentoring.
Commitment to digital participation:
Our commitment is to graciously support the Digital Charter effort in ensuring that Adult and Young people from the African & Minority Ethnic Community have unfettered access to Basic Digital Skill. Knowing fully that Basic Digital Skill will help tackle poverty, social isolation and other forms of inequality when its development is embed into their day-to-day activity.
We intend to set up a Community Digital Club, where the community can have access to IT Equipment and Training.
We are interested in other IT qualification.
