Organisation statement:
The aims of our club are to advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people by extending their knowledge of computing and encouraging them to use digital technology.
Commitment to digital participation:
Our club's commitment is to provide a facility that allows older people in the local community easy access to support to help them learn to use digital services.
Support offered:
Our club provides volunteer tutors across the age range and with a mix of technical skills to support learner members. Tutors have the opportunity to pick up new learning points from others during club sessions.
Support wanted:
Access to free or low-cost training for our volunteer tutors to extend their knowledge partularly in relevant emerging technologies.
